APRIL STRONG GANSMANN
April has been in the beauty industry for over18 years as a Makeup Artist, Commercial Model, Pageant Title Holder and Licensed (Medical) Esthetician. She graduated with her B.A. in 2012 from Northeastern Illinois University and received her esthetics education from Skin Institute. Since 2010, she has been the owner of April Strong Artistry. Some of her work has been featured with Target, Tresemmé, Fitbit, Groupon, Walgreens, Seventeen Magazine, Teen Prom, and Artistry by Amway. Within the pageant world, April has worked with over100 Pageant title holders and she was a competitor herself. She was Miss US International 2007, Miss Chicago 2010 (MAO), Miss Illinois Sweetheart 2010, Miss Cook County 2011 (MAO), and Miss Heartland 2012 (MAO). In addition, she was1st, 3rd, and 2nd Runner-Up at Miss Illinois (MAO) between 2010 -2012. She was also1st Runner-up at Miss Illinois 2014 (USA) and 3rd runner-up at Miss Michigan 2015 (USA). Outside of her career, she enjoys traveling, good food, yoga classes, and spending time with her husband, 2 children, dog, family, and friends! She also has enjoyed exploring all STL has to offer since moving to The Lou spring of 2019!
GLORIA STRONG GILLEN
Gloria started her career as a Licensed Cosmetologist in 1980 as a stylist in Michigan working at places like Nouvage, Marshall fields and Nathans. She attended and trained with the infamous Martin Parsons as well as Ann and Gary Bray, the famous Pivot Point Trainer's. In 1989 she opened her own full service salon called "Studio Clix" as well as a modeling agency "Xit Modeling". It was through this career path that she discovered another passion, makeup. In 1996 Gloria decided to close the salon and switch gears focusing on photo-shoots, runway shows and offering classes. Then in 2003 Gloria started working for MAC Cosmetics and in 2007 moved to Chicago for more career opportunities within the company. Gloria was 1 of 50 on MAC's Chicago Impact team. She now resides in St. Louis and is the Lead Artist with ASA. Outside of her career of Hair and Makeup, Gloria loves traveling and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and malitpoo Jaxy.
Daniella Herrington
Meet Daniella, she is one of ASA's amazing contractors. Daniella is a STL Local and has been doing Makeup since 2016 and is certified with ExpertRating by MUA Megan Vigil. Daniella specializes in soft glam and everyday makeup but enjoys the spectrum of looks. She finds joy in being part of someone's special day and will bring calmness and laughter to your experience while sitting in her chair. She prides herself on her in-depth knowledge of makeup, skin care products, and techniques to achieve and create the desired visual results to enhance outer beauty. Outside of work, she is a proud wife and mother to four beautiful daughters that are constantly keeping her sharp with the latest trends. In addition, she loves gardening, painting, & reading!
